Overview

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid equips you with the skills and knowledge to deliver effective first aid responses including CPR. This course is suitable for workplace requirements and members of the public who wish to gain these valuable first aid skills.

Why Choose Us?

As one of the leading facilities for first aid training in Perth, our courses are nationally recognised and can pave the way for a career as a care worker. You will learn basic first aid skills that are easy to grasp and apply in real life situations – skills that could save a life.

Our First Aid course is suitable for everyone, providing the skills and knowledge required to deliver an effective first aid response to a casualty. It is suitable for workplace requirements and for members of the public who wish to gain invaluable first aid skills.

It is recommended that the first aid course is renewed every three years, while the Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that CPR training is refreshed on an annual basis.

Classroom sessions are held at Unit 8 / 40 Meares Ave, Kwinana, Western Australia. Close to bus and train public transport.

Enrolment Requirements:

You are required to provide uninterrupted cardio pulmonary resuscitation on an adult and infant manikin over a period of two minutes, and be able to respond to an emergency situation where there may be a risk to life.

If a candidate is unable to meet the physical requirements, cannot perform resuscitation and/or first aid to the required standards, a nationally recognised statement of attainment cannot be issued. A certificate of participation will still be issued to the unsuccessful candidate.

Successful completion of a first aid course will provide you with a good basis to progress to other more advanced courses.

Contact us or call 9439 1673 to book a class or request one of our trainers to provide training at your workplace.
